The Simple way to maintain a mindfulness practice.

How will Your Mindful Year help?

#1- Feel grounded and present

The questions help you make space for reflection whilst drawing your attention to different aspects of your life and the direction it is taking.

#2- Rediscover what is important for you

Because modern life is fast and busy, we sometimes live by default, forgetting what makes us happy. Week by week, you will be guided to notice

#3- Save time

The extra resources give you context and provide recommendations for exploring the subject further, saving you time.

#4- Stay on track

Creating a new habit can be hard, but a little nudge can go a long way to make it easier. The weekly emails remind you to stay on track.

You + Your Mindful Year = everything you need to get started!

Maybe you've thought that you needed to meditate every day for an hour to become mindful.

Or maybe that you needed a guru to reveal your life purpose.

The truth is, we all can be mindful in our everyday lives. And we all have the answers. We just need a little guidance to get into the habit of asking ourselves the necessary questions.

After a few weeks of Your Mindful Year you will start feeling that you are

  • relearning to be present and feel grateful throughout your day.
  • deepening your self-awareness.
  • living your best life now.

A Note From Ana...

The last few years have been hard on most of us. The silver lining is that we were forced to slow our hectic pace.

And many decided to keep that new rhythm and make more time for life. But getting into the habit of reflecting and finding the right questions can be a bit overwhelming.

My wish is that Your Mindful Year helps you in your journey of rediscovering who you are and what a mindful and purposeful life means to you.

Imagine...

  • Feeling present in your life and making every day count.
  • Rediscovering what it means for you to live a life without regrets.
  • Reconnecting to yourself and others.
  • Taking control of the direction of your life.

So what's in the box?

-1-

Set of 52 cards

Reflect on the week that was and get curious about a deeper question. Each card will guide you as you discover the themes throughout the year. They are printed in Australia using recycled paper with the perfect finish to write on.

-2-

A set of wooden beads

Removing a bead from the string each week creates a powerful visual of time passing by.

-3-

A beeswax candle

Creating a ritual helps us anchor intentions. This simple gesture allows your brain to establish a lasting habit.

Other options on the store

Calico bag set - reducing postage cost, but still keeping the physical cards and beads.

Digital cards - perfect if you like using your tablet or if you are happy to print your own.

What is the final aim?

To get used to observing your life rather than letting it rush by.

To learn to be grateful regularly for the big things and the little ones.

To remind you of who you truly are and how you want to lead your life. So that you savour every day, and when your time comes, you will feel no regrets.

What others say about Your Mindful Year...

Victoria

I'm enjoying my Mindful Year. The process is great for me as I love journaling. I love the links to the TEDtalks and articles embedded in the lessons; they really deepen my thought process. It is a very grounding process.

Michelle

These prompt questions get me thinking and reflecting on the things/ events that have been happening in my life lately. I also love the simplicity of the weekly questions, although I found them hard initially. Thank you for creating this "tool" to help me be more mindful and establish a practice that makes me observe my life in the present moment without judgment.

Diny

These cards are really helping me think more about how I spend my time, what is important to me and my connection to others - I'm becoming more mindful!

Some of the questions have really stayed with me and frequently pop into my thoughts. The links are well chosen, very interesting and relevant to the questions.
The cards are good quality and beautifully packaged.

I've always been interested in mindfulness, but I've never been able to stick with a regular practice. Ana's programme has changed that for me. The programme provides clear and thoughtful guidance on how to reconnect with yourself, as well as regular emails to help me stay on track. I've found the thought-provoking email prompts and reminders to be especially helpful in deepening my self-reflection and applying the learnings from the resources. I find myself reflecting on these emails long after I receive them as they always include a new tip or idea to help me deepen my practice.

I've been practicing mindfulness for some time now, and I've already seen a number of benefits. I'm less anxious and more present in my life and feeling more energized.

If you're looking for a way to improve your life through mindfulness, I highly recommend Ana's programme. It's a great way to get started with mindfulness, and to stay on track with your practice.

How do I know if I'm ready?

Perfect for you if:

  • You feel you are too analytical for "fluffy" mindfulness practices.
  • You know deep down that you are living your life by default.
  • You want to create change without having to go on a three-month silent retreat in the Himalayas.
  • You want to explore the deeper aspects of being human but don't know where to start.
  • You're overwhelmed by the amount of information out there and would like someone to curate it for you.

Not for you if:

  • You're 100% happy with your life and wouldn't change a thing.
  • You aren't willing to take 15 minutes a week for yourself.
  • You are not curious about how to live your best life.
  • You want to keep procrastinating and avoiding thinking about what is important in your life.

Commonly Asked Questions

What happens if my parcel is delayed but I want to get started?

No problem, we can email you a PDF of the cards so you can print the first few until your parcel arrives.

How much time will this take me each week?

You can go light (10-15 min per week)

At the start of your first week, you will read the first card's questions.

Hopefully, the questions will colour your perspective for the week, and maybe you can give yourself a little headspace whilst queuing at the supermarket to consider the answers. Or you might just let them brew in your subconscious.

Then at the end of the week, you can write short answers on the card.

Take out the next card to familiarise yourself with next week's question.

Or you can go deeper

The weekly emails will also bring you suggestions for books, videos, quotes, meditations etc., to give you more information if you want to explore that month's theme in more depth.

And if you want to follow down the rabbit hole...

What happens if I miss a week?

Life happens sometimes. Just start where you left off and continue. There is no due date but the more consistent you can be the better the results.

Do I need to start on a certain date?

Absolutely not. It doesn't matter if you start on the 1st of January, on your birthday or next Tuesday.

Can I restart the emails if I fall off the wagon?

Of course. Sometimes it takes a while to get consistent, and sometimes, circumstances change. You can always restart from the beginning if you need to.
