About me

Hi, I’m Ana.

A little bit about me: I am originally from Spain. Many, many moons ago, I came to Australia as a backpacker and ended up staying for good.

I am married to a very German man, which makes us a yin-and-yang team with totally different approaches regarding being on time, the role of food in life and how much we talk, amongst others.

We have three gorgeous dogs that love running at the beach. Luckily, we live close to the sea, so they get to do that every day.

I am
curious by nature and want to try and learn everything. I would need a hundred lifetimes before I begin to get bored with life.

Being in the garden (currently a work in progress) and using my creativity makes my heart sing.
I have the largest "crafty things" board on Pinterest and would need the hundred lives mentioned above to make a small percentage of the projects I have pinned.

If left unchecked,
my default mode is a racing mind with 100 tabs open at all times.

I have always been curious about what it means to lead a good life and know that mindfulness is vital to staying grounded and authentic to one's heart.

Unfortunately, I found it very hard to be consistent. The busier I got and the more I needed it, the less mindful I became.

Whilst I love going to a retreat and immersing myself in inner work, I needed something that would help my day-to-day and allow me to reflect on what is important without retreating from the world. And so, Your Mindful Year was born out of my selfish need. (You are welcome)

By choosing Your Mindful Year, many benefit

Of course, the first to benefit are yourself and the people in your life, but it turns out we can do better than that.

If you are reading this, have bought or have been gifted one of my products, you are lucky.
Many people don't have the privileges we have for the mere reason that they weren't born in a first-world country.

Every Your Mindful Year product makes a small difference by contributing to improving someone else's life.

Through B1G1

Every product sold contributes to a project curated by B1G1 (Business for Good). This ensures the money goes directly to the chosen project to maximise the impact.

They also create this cool counter that keeps track of the projects supported.

During COVID times, Your Mindful Year supported a good friend, Ketut. He is a tourist guide in Bali.

Unfortunately, the lack of tourists meant he struggled to put food on the table.

Make sure you book him via Kamala Bali Tour if you are ever in Bali. He is very knowledgeable and all together a very nice man.

Sometimes, it is nice to see Your Mindful Year out there...
